Where has the time gone this year? I remember it being Christmas and so dang excited for the upcoming vacations we had planned (Vegas / Washington D.C.). They have both now come and gone.... Here are some of my favorite pictures from Washington D.C. The big vacation, for the whole family is yet to come and I hope to capture some once-in-a-lifetime shots there.
The awesome Capitol; we got to tour the inside and it just blew my mind. A must do/see when in D.C.
The colors on the flowers, everywhere, were spectacular!
Beautiful cherry blossoms and dogwoods were everywhere. I need some of these in my yard!
The Supreme Court
The awesome Washington Monument; one of three places on a must do list that we could not tour... : ( that's what happens when you go during one of the busiest time of the year.
Bo, the Obama's Portugese Water Dog came out for a meet and greet, lol
Q and Kay were my companions for the trip. Had a lot of fun with them!
The White House
Arlington Cemetary; very sobering. Over 300,000 soldiers buried here. Graves as far as the eye could see, at times.
at the Pentagon Memorial; very poignant this week.
